Fotografi era digital dengan software olah gambar telah membawa perubahan dalam dunia fotografi dengan meningkatnya kesadaran akan sejauh mana hasil foto dapat dimanipulasi. Sebelum era digital ternyata praktek manipulasi foto sudah dilakukan.
